Practice

Giles Reid Architects is an RIBA Chartered Practice based in Kew, Richmond, serving London and the South West .

The practice focuses on art spaces and bespoke domestic projects, creating buildings and interiors with a straightforward, relaxed character, in which traditional construction is quietly expressed.

People

Giles was born and educated in New Zealand. He worked for seven years for Renzo Piano Building Workshop, in Paris and then London, as one of two site based architects. He also worked for Matheson Whiteley as project architect for Modern Art, Helmet Row, East London and the Mackintosh Studios, for artists Goshka Macuga, David Noonan and Michael Raedecker.

He set up his own practice in 2016.
